Whats the exact error message you get? Do the 'Update EPG' thing, then zip and attach your config.exe.log.

The data actually still comes from the same servers as it did in the past zap2it (you're just paying for the service now), so there is still a status message in the config app that says something like "download listings from zap2it". Dont let this worry you.

That "(500) internal server error" is an error occuring on the listings server on the other side of the internet. This specific error is usually caused by the user not having added a lineup on http://www.schedulesdirect.org, or maybe not any channels enabled in that lineup. So head over to http://www.schedulesdirect.org and check your account lineup as a first step.

I was unaware that zap2it was going down and imagine my surprise when I browsed my normally trusty and reliable GBPVR listings today and found out they will run out as of tomorrow (Sunday, Sep. 15th 2007).

So, I come on the GB PVR forums (which are excellent) and find out I should run over and sign up with Schedules Direct at http://www.schedulesdirect.org

Fair enough.

The only problem is that when I try to sign up over there (clicking on the "Sign Up" link), I get this error message:

"Account creations are currently disabled. Please try again later."

Hmmm...anybody know what gives?

You're probably best to post that question on the schedules direct forums.

I'm sure it wont be down long.

I just sign up the 'SchedulesDirect' today, and had the same problem here.
I found I need to log in the site and go to:
Subscribed Lineups:Add a new lineup
then the problem solved ! - Thanks.
