MVP stops responding to remote off and on

I've had this issue for a while....but it has gotten a lot worse after I installed the latest release (only bad thing, everything else about this new release has been head and shoulders over previous versions....LOVE IT). It repsonds to say 10-15 commands.....then locks up...then performs all the commands I hit after that relly rapidly.....then stalls again. randomly, it locks up completely and simply stops responding to commands. If I'm watching a show...the show will keep going, but nothing on the remote works.

Funny part is that usually if I let it keep playing, all the commands I hit that weren't working...go through at the same time whenever it hits a comskip commercial marker and trys to autoskip the commercial.

Anyone else have any experience with this....suggestions?

Oh...just some general info:
Wired... gigabit all the way to the mvp (even though the mvp only supports t100), only 1 MVP.

XP, 1.0.16 with default dongle...yes.

I'm not really sure then. Thats usually a good combination. It might be worth see if the mvpmc dongle helps.

Might be a stupid question...but Only 1 dongle shows up in config, do I have to download the other one?

Thanks...gonna run it through its paces for a few days, but initial trial looks great because I can normally get the mvp to lock up and need a restart by just scheduling a show to record and then moving the post-padding to like 45 minutes.

Normally after hitting the button 10-12 times in a row, it would stop responding for a few moments....and I would have to wait for it to catch up, then start hitting the button again. After about 10 more button presses, it would lock up completely. I ran the the number up to 70 just now without it glitching once.

(just to clarify, I only hit the button as fast as the mvp can keep up.....I figured any faster and I would be asking for trouble anyway.)
