Awesome! has to be the fastest price drop in history for a new service/product. And it's due to the demand and not the lack of it.
Edit: Here's the official Announcement: Quote:Price Lowered, Memberships Extended and Google Checkout

is there some reason that I should be looking at shedules direct over a free service like zap2xml (zap2it scraper)
does schedules direct just have a lot of program info and that's what makes it so worth it?

Ease of use.
Reliability. Won't break because of website changes. Integrated support in GB-PVR. Also, expect wonderful things once they take over the data storage.

The scrapers, if you didn't know how they worked, pull the info directly off of webpages. So, yours for example is going to the listings on Zap2its website, pulling what is on the page and converting it to guide info. The minute that Zap2it changes the layout of its listing page, the scraper is broken. Likely, it would be fixed fairly quick, but not neccesarily. Also, the SD listing is directly integrated with GBPVR, meaning you don't need to run any separate batch to make it work. IMO, $1.67 a month ($20 a year) is totally worth not having to deal with any problems and never have to worrry about updating my guide.

It works as easy as Zap2it did and I believe it is the only option available to us Canadians.
