Ripping CARS DVD

That was going to be my last resort, to record while playing. But came across this by accident, videoredo http://www.videoredo.com and it has a function quickstreamfix. And it worked. Proper timeline, and still in sync. (By the way I just ripped Pirates of the Caribbean - the normal way with no isssues at all - just the cars one. Soon going to try "happy feet") *edit* haha Pirates 2 - failed out of sync blah blah *sigh*

I use windows media encoder do convert my DVD's. The only problem I have ever had is it sometimes stops short of the whole movie, Cars included. I think that might be related to having a crapload of codecs loaded. At one time I was looking for a particular codec and just installed some "codec pack" that has been causing problems ever since. I don't know what ones to wipe out. I set the same thing up for a guy I work with so he could convert his dvd's to play on his zune. He has never had any problems.
