I was wondering how many of us have switched over to the new PVRX2.exe and how many of us have stayed with GBPVR.exe. Those of you who are on previous versions can vote as well since you didn't upgrade for a reason.

For me, switching to PVRX2 was a no-brainer. I'm only using the app as a front end for my music, MP4 videos, and my pictures so I don't have to worry too much about recording TV or getting channel listings.

I only go to the 'old' GUI when I need to listen to FM Radio which is not office. I'm very, very happy with PRVX2.

Took me a little while to get over, and have had some display issues with the vmr only and live tv that I dont have with gbpvr....but it does look better, and sooner or later I would have had to move since that the direction sub is taking us.

Painless move for me - gbpvr.exe looks really dated having used pvrx2.exe

Although there are some features missing in pvrx2, all the functionality I use every day is in place so I can hold out for the bells and whistles...

just call me a 'slow upgrader' Big Grin

some of the extras i like are slowly coming back in the new one, and since youtube doesn't work anymore, but net radio is, i'm using it more and more..
i use a custom skin tho and haven't gotten a chance to convert it yet..

also, i used vmr7 before so i had to solve issues to satisfaction first..

I would like to make the switch but I have a PVR-350 that has never given me any problems at all. My video card will not even support PVRX2.exe so I've upgraded to the latest version and use gbpvr.exe.

I'm stuck with the old UI since FM & net-radio have not returned to the new one. Till then I hang on to GBPVR.exe although not complete voluntarily.

I have PVRX2 on the server, most clients and MVP but GBPVR on the PC that I spend most of my time on. Currently the search is better and I have the TV Listing expanded to show more hours. I also have to run the old interface on my touchscreen tablet PC as it can't handle PVRX2 video requirements.

Even my spouse has noticed that the picture is better in pvrx2, particularly when we are doing something else on the computer that would have caused gbpvr to slow down the video and make it out of synch with the audio. In similar situations with pvrx2, we get a couple of seconds of tiny squares and then the video is perfect again.

I like the fact that gbpvr is still there, but I am not using it very much these days.
