The original ZProcess will play my AVI files perfectly, but will not adjust the aspect ratio of my x.264 MP4 files. ZProcess2 will convert my MP4s perfectly, but will not play some of the AVI files that ZProcess1 will. After a delay, the MVP goes back to the video library screen. I've adjusted the pre-play delay; I've split large files; I've re-encoded files; I've tried switching the transcoder (I can't tell if that does anything), they still won't play using ZP2. I've looked through them, but can't find anything that they all share in common that isn't also shared by the files that work. All of these files play perfectly using VLC on my computer, they all load up just fine in Virtualdub, and they all play through GBPVR on my MVP using ZProcess 1015. All of the AVIs that won't play are PAL videos (actually I have one MP4 that won't play either), but many of the PAL videos in my collection play just fine (they're all tennis videos that I've downloaded). I haven't had any problems with NTSC AVIs. I'm in the U.S. by the way.

Anyway, hope you can help when you have time. Thanks for all of your hard work. ZProcess has saved me so much hastle.

I pointed ZProcess1 to MEncoder and it now correctly transcodes MP4s as well as all of my PAL AVIs. I guess I'll just stick with it instead of ZP2. I'd be more than happy to do what I can to help you track down the problem if you want though. ZP2 is definitely having a problem with some PAL AVIs, at least on my computer.

I'm using GBPVR 1.0.16 on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.8ghz with Windows XP SP2.

I was very happy with ZProcess 1 at the point that I had my crash. It does work well. I'm happy that you're getting by.

But onward and upward...

I will still need some time to settle before I crack open my code and start working again, but I would certainly appreciate your help.

If it works with ZProcess 1 it should also work with ZProcess 2, if not better. It will probably be something simple that I have over looked...

Hang tight, I'll be up and running shortly
