Hi

Today I’ve tried downloading for the first time DVB-T EPG’s but have a problem, I’ve read other post about similar problems but can’t see the answer I’m for looking. I should be collecting info for:

BBC ONE, More 4, ITV1, BBC TWO, Five, SKY THREE, UKTV History, Dave, Channel 4, E4, ITV2, ITV3 and Film4

but I only get listings for:

Five, UKTV History, SKY THREE, Film4, Dave, BBC TWO and BBC ONE.

Can any body help me please?

Thank you

Tony

Unfortunately the those logs are cut short. Can you enable log flushing in the config app, then hit 'ok' to apply the setting, then start the config app again, then hit the update EPG button and repost those logs?

To speed up the collection time you might want to set

<DvbEpgHarvestDuration>60</DvbEpgHarvestDuration>

It should get pretty much all it's going to get in the first 60 seconds. Having it set higher can just drive you nuts while you sit waiting for it to complete. I'm sure you know the feeling Big Grin

I'm taking a look at the logs now and will reply again in a couple of minutes.

I think I know what is happening. It relates to the missing channels originally being setup a long time ago, before GB-PVR collected an additional piece of information during the channel scan.

I can fix it for you if you zip and email your database through to me. I'll PM you my email address.

Looks as though that's the business!

Thank you

One other thing that doesn't work properly is "rewind" or "skip back", they go forward not back, is there anything I should check? Should this be a new topic?

Great.

Do you mean during the play of a previously completed recording?

Yes.

When watching a program previously recorded. If I "skip forward" at an advert and go to far the norm would be to go back, the "skip back" or "rewind" both take me forward and I have no way of going backwards

Thats probably cuased by the mux you're using. Try a different mux or different version of it.
