Haha.. You guys are a real riot. Pretty much what I expected. No real surprise there. [Image: tongue.gif]

However a few decent guys have offered constructive ideas and help without trying to be clever. To those guys, I thank you. Wink

The "Single-Use" S-Video input card would use the same hardware as the card you bought and cost basically the same.

$50-60 for a quality hardware encoder is what you're going to pay regardless of the connectors that are included on it.

I'm reminded of Alton Brown. He has a policy about not populating his kitchen with "Uni-Taskers" It's a waste of time and money.

There's also driver support you have to take into consideration. It's hard enough to get driver support for mildly popular cards. Imagine waiting for a driver update with this single-use card that so few people would buy because for $5-10 more they could get an ATSC/Cable Tuner.

It's good your ex showed you where to get all the cool emoticons before you kicked him to the curb. Smile

I love your avatar too. It's like the anti-hello kitty.

LOL!!! I never thought of it like that.
I've been wanting to get one of the hello kitty cars.

I wonder how it would look with my avatar on it instead.. Wink

On a less silly note, my over priced, over featured capture card just came in today.
I guess I'll be getting into that project this weekend.
