I'm about to do my setup this evening. I have 3 cards and two set top boxes, and two Media MVP's I'd like to control. I'd like to be able to record any two shows and watch live TV. I know I can hook up 2 analog sources to two cards and one to the Set Top box, but is there a way to hook up the two set top boxes and only one analog source and be able to change the channel on any of them using the Haup Remote.

If not what is the best suggestion?

You may need to add an additional IR Blaster, like the USB-UIRT, for controlling the extra set top box. The Hauppauge IR Blaster software is only really geared for controlling one blaster and one type of set top box, which makes things difficult without adding an extra IR Blaster.

If I were to do that would GBPVR know where to send the signal?

Yes. When you setup each capture source, you specify the 'channel changer' to use. GB-PVR can then tell if its supposed to use a specific IR Blaster when you access a channel on that capture source.
