No Video Playback on MVP (black screen only)

First, I'd like to say how happy I have been with GBPVR and MVP. It makes for a great easy to use package.

I have had an issue though occasionally with playing back videos on the MVP. After selecting the video, it goes to a black screen. I can hit back/exit and return to the menu but no video appears. If I power off the MVP and turn it back-on, everything works great.

I'm using GBPVR 1.0.16 (gbpvr.exe interface on MVP) and XP. Logs attached.

I was using a previous version (.99?) and don't recall this issue at all (the motherboard took a dump and so I had to upgrade

The other issue I was wondering about is if there is a way to make LiveTV (or any other plugin) come up automagically instead of the menu on bootup.

Any help is appreciated.

I see you're using the old GBPVR.exe MVP server. Try switching to the new PVRX2.exe MVP server. It is much more reliable.

Upgrading to 1.0.16 solved this problem as well as the issue of the MVP not being able to connect to the server. I have been running a few days now with no problems.

Cool.

There was a patch somewhere here that added net radio. It wasnt perfect, but definitely usable.
