Hello Alibert
Mea Culpa! I just installed a few hours ago your previous version of TV-Listing as i saw, that's meanwhile compatible with the new PVR2X. I have a short OT question because of the nice Channelicons. I tried to make them too, but after every EPG Update they're away. You're using another of your handy Tools for this?

Channel Icon shall have the same name as the channel name in the XMLTV file.
What do you think of these icons, that I have collected and made. http://startop.homeftp.net/mcs/tv/de/_vi...annels.asp

For the installation and usage of them: Of course i made it like you described, but after every EPG Update i lost the assigned icons. I don't know why. Perhaps the way i get my EPG? I use TV Movie (german) to collect the data for my programs. Alibert's "TVM2XML" Tool converts this data to an xml-style-format which i use directly as an epg source. Alibert's TV Listing (and ClickfinderToXML ) and you're really beautiful icons. I beliebe i am in heaven.

Hi,
I've just uploaded an updated version of the plugin fixing two bugs mentioned here. Regarding the overwritten channel icons - I think the problem is that gbpvr always replaces the channel logos that are already present in the media/channellogos folder with the ones found in your xmltv-source. I ended up in no longer including the <icon> tag for channels in my xmltv-file. Another solution could be to write protect the images you want to use, but I'm not sure if it'll work. -alibert

You can send me a pm with your e-mail address and I will send you a updated version that will also support things like star-rating, audio quality and so on. -alibert

When trying to use icons in the PNG format, be aware thar GBPVR always will try to use icons in JPG or GIF format if icon with same names as PNG exists.
I think the presentation should be the other way around. First try PNG, then GIF, then JPG. That would solve the overwriting problem....perhaps? I will ask Sub about this.
Best Regards

I just presented a link to my home-server that I have in my living room.
I will upload the icons to the hyperlinkx.com/mcs/tv/[CountryCode] "some" day. So a download program should use that path. eg. http://www.hyperlinkx.com/mcs/tv/uk eg. http://www.hyperlinkx.com/mcs/tv/de eg. http://www.hyperlinkx.com/mcs/tv/se there will also be a _CommonLogos directory for the most common sat icons. There will be an XML file with channel names that a script reads and presents avaliable icons. I have a Photoshop template that makes it easy to make you own icons with that style. I don't have time to make icons for all countries. But I have a lot of icons for the western european countries made. But all this is in a very early stage right now, but we can keep in touch.
Best Regards
