TV Listings 2 - Support Thread

Hi,

1 - When "Recording Season" there´s an option to select a automatic transcode profile.

I already searched the database where those information are stored some time ago without success, but I will have a look again.

2 - When there´s no epg data for a channels it creates "dummie" shows at every hour saying "Not avaiable" (or something like that).

As I personally don't see a use case for such dummy programmes, I don't think that I will implement something like that.

The old tv listings showed arrows to navigate when showNavigation="true" was set this version the setting seems to have no effect.

Also I am able to use the skin.xml to get more hours displayed on the screen but if I change the settings for rows to :
<Placement name="Channels" loc="5,15" size="9,63" rows="9" borderWidth="2"/>
<Placement name="Listings" loc="15,15" size="80,63" rows="9" brightenCurrentShowsPercent="16" borderWidth="2"

Only the listing seems to change size , I get 9 rows off but channels it goes off the screen, and the channel font doesn't seem to change with the listing font. Can you make this function or even better make # of minutes and # of rows a setting on the config tab.

Finally i don't see an add guide option of the config tab so while I can edit the guide name from default to something else I can't seem to add a second view of the guide.

The navigation arrows are not yet implemented into the pvrx2 version, sorry.

Those problems are fixed. The buttons in the config form were actually hidden by the guides list, and the other problem was a hardcoded "7" in the source.

Thanks for the rapid fix - there is a patch for buttons that sub posted I'll see if it affects the navigation issue,

No, it won't, as it is just not implemented yet, sorry.

After installing the new version when I enter the Guide the program appears to lock up. The interface no longer responds to the keyboard or to the remote. Ctrl-Atl-Del will bring up the task manager and I can stop the process and restart or reboot but each time I enter the guide the same thing happens?

Any thoughts?

OK, I had pretty heavily modified the skin to suite my desires. It appears that something with my skin (which had worked fine before the 2.2 upgrade) is causing the problem. It works fine with the skin distributed with the plugin.

yes, the skin-file has changed in the new release to include the new features like indicating premiere, star-rating and so on.

Thanks for the fixes - the last thing the font on the channel portion seems stretched when I move it to 9 rows while the listing aren't even though it is supposed to use the same font,

Quick question, is there anyway we can get the default GBPVR search dialog to appear when using TV Listings? If you use the default TV Guide, if you press F1 (or the guide button on your remote), the search dialog will appear. This is currently the only way to get this to show up. But if I use TV Listings, I have no way to get this dialog.

Can you do anything to provide this, or know of a tweak to allow us to do this?
