Upgrading from XP Pro to XP MCE

I got a good deal on XP MCE and am planning on upgrading my PVR OS, which is currently XP Pro. I am planning on doing full-n-fresh install and not just an upgrade install. Any tips? Like... should I save my GBPVR files or just start it back up from scratch?

Why bother? I can understand a fresh install but if you are using GBPVR XP Pro is fine.

MCE is not an upgrade from XP Pro. Frankly, I wouldn't bother...a lot of hassle for no gain. And, you may have to disable parts of MCE so as not to conflict with GB-PVR.

All MCE does is consume more disk space.
