Guide button for MVP 34-button remote?

Ok, I'm scratching my head on this one...

So after searching tonight, I see the way to get to the search screen is either (F1) on the keyboard, or pressing the guide button on the hauppauge remote twice.

On the MVP's 34-button remote, there is no guide button. Am I missing a special button sequence to get to he search on the MVP?

The keyboard reference (http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manua...dReference) seems to be geared towards the 45-button remote. Wish there was a MVP column.

I havnt used a 34 button remote in a very long time, but did you try the green button in the top right?

Yeah, I tried that. It doesn't take you to the guide, but once in the guide (from the main menu) the green button acts as a "page up" and the blue button as a "page down" within the guide.

Is there a way I can remap, say the "go" button in the upper right to act as the guide button? There are a few on the 34-button remote that don't seem to be used.

Sorry, you might be out of luck for now. I'll try to make sure I fix this for the next release.

No problem, thanks for looking at it. The only other thing I noticed using PVRX2 as the MVP server is there's no way to change the date sort order for multiple recordings of a show. Maybe another 34-button issue.

I think I used to hit the red button and it would toggle between oldest->newest and newest->oldest.

Btw, thanks for re-adding the FF/REV for the MVP in 1.0.16. That was the one thing keeping me from switching from the GBPVR.exe server to the new one. Switched last week because the old interface kept crashing on me during playback more and more.

I've got a 34 button remote and there are now two things that appear to be missing in v1.0.16. Firstly there seems to be no way to search for programmes (it used to be a menu option) and secondly when viewing photos it used to be possible to zoom using the OK button and then pan and scroll using the direction keys. Am I missing something?

Its a menu option again in the next release.

I havnt done anything with this yet, but the feature will most likely return at some stage.
