After doing an upgrade to 1.1.5 I noticed my disk space is reading 0 GB free. When I verified with Explorer I have plenty of space. This won't prevent the system from recording will it?

Logs and images attached.

Thanks,
Jeff

If you fire up the old GBPVR.exe user interface, does it show the disk usage correctly?

I think you've somehow lost your .net performance counters on your machine, rather than it being a GB-PVR problem in the latest release. We've seen this in the past.

I'm fairly sure if you do a forum search for "WMI" you'll find some links to info on the Microsoft website to fix it.

Sub,

I am getting this error in PVRX2.exe

Unabled to determine disk usage: System.Runtime.InteropServices.InvalidComObjectException: COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW cannot be used.
at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.GetIUnknownForObjectNative(Object o, Boolean onlyInContext)

From reviewing the forum I gather that it is related to "performance counters". I have tried finding fixes for this on the gbpvr forum but am having a hard time finding a step by step guide to fixing it. Most of the guides seem over my head technically. I do know how to modify registry entries but thats about as far as I can go.

Please anyone help if possible! been working on this for a few days now.

I've never seen the problem myself, so you're probably best to follow the advice from one of the past users that have posted about it. Alternatively try googling the error message for a fix.

Well, the only fixes I find after searching "performance counters" is to reinstall OS and this link

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=300956

Can someone please help me understand this procedure; it seems quite complex. Are there any utilities that can help?
