I backed up my denv directory and then ran the install for the new version. Everything seemed to go smoothly. The only problem I have is I still cannot get the as stated --

'full TV Guide now accessible inside playback OSD, like it was in GB-PVR'

Now I admit I could be thinking of the wrong thing but when pressign ctrl-b or ctrl-g I still get no results when watching live TV to get the current description of the channel or mini guide to show. Is there a setting in the config.xml that I need to change?

You need to press "Guide" on your remote (or F11/F12 - can't rem which) when watching live TV to see the live-guide.

F1 works for me. Ctrl-b and Ctrl-g do not.

Is thre any way to play with the 'skin' for this feature? We are currently using a CRT TV(for lack of a better description) and text does not always show up the best, especially if it is smaller. I am using the Blue-Retro-SHV skin right now and that has done wonders for our eyes trying to view the guide from the main menu. If I could chang the look for this in the same way that would be great.

It can be skinned by editing C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin2\blue\TV Guide\live-skin.xml.

Oops sorry I knew I still had to update the live-skin.xml & some of the other OSD displays in Blue-Retro-SHV & should have mentioned it on the wiki. Problem is I haven't got a capture card in my test/development pc at the moment so testing things out has been a bit of a mission. What is worse is I have a capture card sitting here ready to install but just have to get the time to do it, I will try to get onto it this weekend & get an update out early next week.

OK, I'm just now searching for guide bugs, and I saw this post.

In the last 2 revisions, I could hit F1 or the guide button on the remote, and get the searchable guide popping up.

Different results now. This version, if I go from main menu->TV Guide and hit F1 or "guide button on the remote, nothing happens at all.

Separately, when I'm watching liveTV, and hit the "guide" button, I get the 1/4 screen guide, but it doesn't show the program detail sat the top of the screen as the .0.15 did. PVR-350, I've manually reloaded the EPG since the .16 update, and restarted the remote, plus quit and restarted GBPVR.

I can send logs if this either one isn't intentional behavior.

These are the expected behaviour.

The search guide is now available in the main menu rather than a popup accessed vi F1 (due to populare demand). This is back to the way it was pre-1.0.x.

The live tv guide that popups up does not show the show details by default since this will use too much of the screen (but can be changed in the skin if need be).

OK, I'll quit trying to fix it Smile

I did like the hit-F1-in-guide feature, one thing that I find a little klunky is having to back in and out of menus. I did see some comments about this method being "remote-centric" but I didn't understand that, since either remote or keyboard worked.. but maybe it was MVP or other point of view?

The other place that I notice backing in and out of the menu system all the time is when resolving conflicts, if you choose to view the "other" recording details you have to go all the way out then come back in to cancel the "other" one.

So far things look great- thanks-
