Can you post the log files it produces?

I've only ever used it with the Cyberlink mux, but it should be ok with the DVR-MS mux aswell. (though that message sounds like that's not the case)

Great.

There is a few channels missing from the list that sky broadcast that I havnt been receiving through TelstraClear cable, but many of those started being retransmitted by TCL yesterday, so I'll have to add them to the config file now - Vibe, Fox news, Crime and Investigation etc. This is a pretty simple matter of adding adding another channel definition for each to DvbToXMLTV.xml.

Excellent, now I can shelve the plans for learning linux so that I could run dvb / epg snoop on another machine for just this type of thing.

Cheers

Hi Argo,
Yeah, I found yesterday that the update had stopped working. I fixed this in version 1.1.5 which should automatically get to your PC next time the update runs. Cheers.

I know there is at least two users out there using this software. But if there are any others, there is a new version which will automatically update itself to if you have dotnet installed.
This new version is on the path to new features such as downloading descriptions..... watch this space.

You need to have at least one DVB-S capture source defined on your machine, and configure the output filename in the <OutputFile> tag of the DvbToXMLTV.xml. When you run it, it'll produce the file you've specified with all the listings extracted from the sky/freeview satellite services.

Thanks Sub. A PVR, with its own DVB sourced sky EPG. For me, the holy grail!

Firstly, thanks a lot Xanth for developing this tool. Your work is much appreciated.

This morning I spotting on the wiki that you'd released version 2.2.1 so I upgrade. When I ran GetGuide.bat djkxml checked for a new version and it appears that it only found 2.2.0. So it looks like it's downloaded 2.2.0 and effectively downgraded me, which in turn caused problems due to me adding C4 to my config file which is not recognised by version 2.2.0. I'm guessing this just means that the site the the auto updater checks for new versions has not been updated with 2.2.1 yet???

Anyway, I'm happy using 2.2.0, but it would be great to see the new features and channels in 2.2.1.

Thanks
Andy
