The new search results page is so much clearer and easy to use - though I did notice that the 'Air Date' on 'Record Me' items is displayed in mm/dd/yyyy format...

Nice catch.....I combined the code that creates the Manage Recordings listing and the search results listing into a common class. When I did that I set the non-recorded programmes to use the short date format whereas the programmes that are recorded were using the long date format. I updated the code to use the long date for all programmes. If you want to update I have attached a new beta release.

Edit: Removed beta posting. New version now available here.

AS for the two buttons.....did you click refresh to load the new CSS? What version of IE? What screen resolution?

I haven't been able to get this to occur on any of my machines....

Laptop: Refresh clicked - IE 7.0.5730.11 - 1440x900 - full screen or window.
gbpvr server desktop: First use of EWA - IE 7.0.5730.11 - 1024x768 - full screen or window.

Both machines show the same symptom.

imho using the same presentation for both listings shows great style as well as making the code more elegant - I'm a big fan of elegant code, tends to be faster and more robust.

Doing some recordings for my good lady wife just now, but will try out the beta at the first opportunity.

Just tried it - Long Date format in search results much clearer (btw I've got International Settings set to English (UK) so would have expected Short Date to be dd/mm/yyyy).
Now I don't know if this is new to this beta, but I was playing about with the column sorts and the Air Date column is sorting on start time of show rather than date/time - this happens on all the other column sorts too (the 'subsort' by date is in time order) - I hope that makes sense...

Hmmmm....I am running IE 7.0.6000.16546. Not sure if that would make a difference or not.

Have you tried it in FireFox on your machine (assuming you have it installed)?

Column sort was yet another bug.....now fixed in the attached.

Edit: Removed attachment....latest beta is available here.

I'm guessing that it wouldn't

I'm way behind on FireFox, so that's not an option at the moment.:o

I'm beginning to think that I need to dig out some XP install disks:eek:

However, since I'm just about to give my wife a new machine with a clean XP install (she loves her EWA) and this problem is only cosmetic, I'd be happy to adjourn until I see how her new machine behaves...

Try the attached....I just shifted it to the right somewhat to see if that fixes it.
