I want to be able to have my freeview card & analog cards share some channels, so when the sat card is in use, it will try to use the STB.

I set up the cards, and they have been working well (but with the shared channels disabled on the STB source)

When I used the same xml file for both, I removed all of the channels on the freeview except for the ones I can actually receive. Unfortunately, this also removed them from the channel lineup totally.

When I left all of the channels in the freeview source (but disabled) everything was fine except when I scheduled a recording, it appeared twice (this may have only happened for recurring)

Is there anyway for me to have the setup I want, without create heaps on conflicts all of the time?

Thanks

It should work. I use things exactly the way you want it to. One nova-t-usb2 for freeview, and one pvr-350 for receiving through my STB. All the freeview channels are also available through my STB.

I have one xmltv file, with all the channels in it. For the nova-t-usb2 I have disabled the encrypted channels (the ones only available to me through my STB).

So keep trying Wink

Yeah, after posting I found that if I use commandline options to empty / update epg then it worked a lot better.
The update epg within the capture source has always given me trouble with the channels list (as I have to re-arrane them due to the missus liking it the same as the STB channel order)

The only issue I have now is that each time I change the order of the capture sources, they have changed back when I go into config again.

Any ideas?

Sub had already posted a way to stop the movement of capture sources, all I had to do was paste a SQL command into sqllitespy and the I could move the sources around.
