Have got GBPVR working with a DVB-S PCI card and all the BBC and ITV FTA channels are coming in fine. Is there a way of getting Channel 4 (before next year) and Channel 5 with some sort of softCAM?

I don't mind buying a Freesat card from Sky, that's not the issue. I don't want to have to get a Sky digibox. No room, no room..............

I'd have thought this would be a popular subject. There must be lots of people who can't get Freeview and want to get Channel 4 and 5 via satellite without having a Skybox in the house.

Is there a way of getting a Freesat card to work with a CAM plugin in GBPVR or even the Hauppage WinTV-CI gismo?

Anyone done this?

I found this http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=319927 which appears to answer my question apart from does the "Technotrend TT-budget S-1500 DVB-S card with add-on CI daughter card" work with GBPVR?
In fact, I can't see any mention of Technotrend in the Wiki list of supported cards. Are they called something else these days?

The TechoTrend cards work with GB-PVR, but not the add-on CI card. The only way of viewing encrypted channels in GB-PVR is by using multidec plugins to provide the appropriate softcam.

Sorry if this isnt the place to ask - but im fairly new to GB-PVR.

I see mention of multidec plugins - can anyone recommend any good ones to try out?
