Problem with skinplugin

Hi I am really new to this so plz bear with me if this is the stupidest question you have ever had.

I installed: GBPVR10016, SkinPlugin3_Setup,CommunitySkin 3.0.1
The problem I have is I dont have any idea where to change themes or customize any of the themes.

According to the website I have to:

Browsing for a Themes
Choose Apply a new theme on the Skin Plugin’s tasks menu.
Use up/down on the remote to select the theme you are interested in.
Pressing left/right will cycle through the available previews for the selected theme.

I cant see/find the skin Plugins task menu.
Can somebody please point out the obious.

Have you set the skin as "Community3" in the config app? The is an option in the installer to do this for you but you can also set it yourself. Look for "current skin" option on the General tab.

I've you don't see Community3 in the skin list or the Skin option is still not in the menu list it may not have installed correctly. Post again with the logs if this is the case.

Thanx for the reply. It was set on community 3. In the end I removed everything and re installed and it fixed the problem.

There is a faulty image name in the Avance baseskin.xml, that cause PVRX2 not to start.
TopBar.jpg should be TopBar.png .... my mistake from the beginning.

I have a problem when selecting Themes. Skinplugin always uses Avance Baseskin, when using other Themes.

When edititng a Theme, the correct baseskin.xml is selected whe Play is pressed. The other stuff is also working when editing a Theme.

I noticed that the SkinPlugin works with any skin now. Very nice. I will try to adjust my skin/themes to be more compatible with the CS3 skin.

Where exactly? I don't see a reference to Topbar anything in the baseskin.xml files.

The SkinPlugin has always worked with any skin that uses _CoreImages (or formerly _CommonImages), and image names as listed on the wiki.

If you need changes to the Community Skin baseskin.xml files just drop me a line. (From what you said, I have more in there than what you use.)

Stupid me!
At some point i had copied the Basic skin, Advance Themes baseskin.xml to the SkinPlugins Avance baseskin.xml and forgotten that I had done so.
Thats why it complained about the topbar.jpg that was in my baseskin.xml

I installed it ok, selected "Community3" as the current skin. I cant see a "Skin" option on the main menu or anywhere else :confused:

Do you see it on the list of plugins in the config app? If so is it enabled?

If not, start PVRX2 and then post the log file (PVRX2.exe.log), this will say what plugins it tried to load and why any failed.
