No audio in manual recordings

If I go into live TV on lets say channel 2, then go back and set up manual recording to record channel 2, video and audio is good. Bu, if I set up a manual recording of a different channel, like channel 4, then the video is good, but audio is just white noise. This happens if I close the program and go back in and the channel was on 2 when the program was closed, and go right to manual record and set it up on a channel other than channel 2! This happens on 3 different computers.
I'm using a P4 3GHZ processor, 2G of ram, XP pro, and V1.1.5 of GBPVR. I have attached the logs. Thanks for a great program.

how many tuners do you have

does it only happen only happen on certain channels
ie does it always record channel 2 with sound
does it always record channel 4 with no sound

I'm using an ATI HD650 in all 3 computers. This seems to only happen when using the manual recording set-up.
As long as I record the channel that was last looked at in live TV, it records the video and audio. But if I record to any other channel than the one that was last looked at on live TV it changes to the programed channel and records the video, but the audio is just white noise.
If I use the quick record from the TV guide it seems to switch to that channel and record both audio and video fine.
The ATI HD 650 is a single tuner and the only one I have
installed in the computers.

As a follow up, if I record from the tv guide using quick record it will record video and audio, but if I use the record function, I have video, but no audio, just noise.

i probably wont be able to help but can you do a recording of each and state the exact time you start them and what you were recording
makes it easier to look in the logs

I dont really have any suggestions.I could understand that certain channels might have problems, but it shouldnt make any difference if it was a recording same channel from the TV Guide or a Manual Recording.

The low level components that do the recording has no idea these two are any different. Its just told what channel to record and the filename. It doesnt know how the high level components decided on the filename to recording to.

You could probably do a manual recording and a tv guide recording of the same channel, then compare the entries in GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log to see if you see any difference other than the filename. (look for the bit starting with "StartRecording(...)" in the log)
