howdy sub. While I was away, vibe and Crime investigation channels started on TelstraClear. What can I do to get the EPG data for these channels via your dvbtoxml utility?

Sorry, I just checked and I hadnt added CI. Add the following to you config file to correct it:

<channel service="1049-14-169" name="CI"/>

Which of the 8 muxes are those two new channels on, I having trouble scanning 6 and 8 and/or do I need a new dba ini file as well? Scanning 6 and 8 just gives me unknown all the time.

But I've found if i've got all the tuning requests i can force them into the db and they work.

Its on 12421. It doesnt matter where you put it in the config file though.

BTW, I should mention we'll probably be going through a rescanning and remapping in a few days. TelstraClear are about to move channels to different muxes, and possibly different PIDs. This is party of their excercise to improve the picture quality. It most like means they'll add a couple more mux frequencies, and spread the channels out a bit more. They've indicated it is supposed to be happening been the 2nd-6th December around 5am in the morning. I suspect they'll be doing it progressively, moving a few channels a day...just to be difficult.

ok, so I wont do anything then, but i may need to grab a blank gbpvr.db3 off you with a full scan if possible since I can't get those 6 and 8 ones to show any channels. And I'd like to start with a full scan that I can then play with.

I thought the signal strength was supposed to be going up as well, but doesn't look like it so far.

Is vibe still on 15421? or 12581 as the comments in your dvbtoxml suggest?

I don't seems to be getting any epg for it (never have, only just added the channel today).

I just checked now, and it is on 12581. I get listings for it.

As long as you have these two lines somewhere in your dvbtoxmltv.xml file then it should find them:

<channel service="1041-1-169" name="Vibe"/>
<Transponder captureSource="any">T:12581,H,22500,34</Transponder>

Hmm, that's strange. I can see the channel information in the dvbtoxml log file. But it doesn't make it to the output xml file.

I'll email the logs and XML file (bit large at 2 mb).
