No Signal On First Use 1.1.5

Under the old version of gbpvr I had this very issue, and there was a fix which worked perfectly

I've now re-installed on a vista 32 machine, using the latest gbpvr, and get exactly the same issue - i've tried using the previous fix but this doesn't work under vista or with the latest version (ie it won't even start)

Has anyone else experienced same problem under 1.1.5 as unable to find anything in the survival guide.

I dont think there is a widespreed issue with this. You could try increasing the <NoSignalPopupDelay> setting in config.xml.

that seemed to work - changed it to 20 seconds and didn't pop up

only thing now to sort out plugins

I've got the same issue with XP (intermittently). I'll try this as well.

I've got it with XP as well - will try adjusting the setting

The default value for <NoSignalPopupDelay> might be marginally too low for some setups.

Basically if you have too many decoders, or a badly behaved decoder installed, it can cause it to take longer to start live tv the first time, which can push it over this timeout.
