kylebrophy Wrote:Thanks Sub - i did find a post eventually that said to create a different capture source for each sat - and then point to the same device number.Ok, good to hear you got it sorted.
This works - i can now have different LO and diseq numbers for each sat.
One thing i did notice (at least with the multiswitch i use) - is that for GB-PVR I need to set the 22KHz diseq switch signal frequency to 0 to turn it on (reverse to what i expected) - i was wondering why i wasnt seeing any signals on the sats for the parameters i had in my STB. Once i figured that out everything went along swimmingly
I now have 9 capture devices set up (8 Sats on nova-s-plus & PVR150).
I'm sure surprised we had that many visible sats in our part of the world. I'm guessing you've got some hugh C Band dishes in that setup?
Quote:One thing ive noticed is when i go from one sat capture device to another (say from D1 to B3) - GBPVR sits there and thinks about it (which is weird since same physical PCI card, and that STB changes instantly) - then says there is no signal ... then the signal meters light up and the channel appears (the whole process woud take a good 30-60 secs). Changing channels on the same sat is fairly much instant - and so is changing to an analogue channel on the PVR150.The switch between capture sources will cause the graph to stop and be restarted, which is a little more time than switching channels on the same capture source, but it should still be pretty quick. Here it takes about three to four seconds.
Reproduce this problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll look for a source of the delay.
