Hey guys I'm sort of new to gb-pvr
I just downloaded the latest program version and under capture source, it doesnt seem to list mine, where do i go from here?

I'm using a pinnacle pctv hd stick pro and the software that came with it was worthless

Please refrain from using any confusing lingos -_-

lincoln,

I believe one of the reasons your tuner is not indicated on the "capture source"
is because it lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.
Please see the following post;
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...+stick+pro

If you only intend to use this card for High Def then it is usble in GBPVR.

I do not have one of these units therefor I would not be a good resource. However,
others can assist you to get it operational.

Regards,

Kevin

make sure you look in the BDA capture card list, not 'direct'..
and check the 'only list cards in my machine' thingy...
uncheck and look manually if it doesn't show there..
[it should if drivers are installed properly]

thanx guys, but now the whole epg thing is a little confusing,
I hit update epg and nothing happens, i goto map epg and sometmes it works sometimes it doesnt, but when it does work it scans for digital signals in which case it fails to find any for some reason (my tv center pro found plenty)

When you hit the 'update epg' button it is supposed to pull in a list of channels you receive, and they should be shown in your capture source. If you click 'map channels...' button prior to getting a list of channels then it'll give you the message you're getting.

...so, it sounds like your problem is that the 'update epg' is not pulling in your list of channels. What EPG Source are you using? Hit the 'update epg' button then zip and attach your config.exe.log and I'll take a look.
