CDKScheduler

The CDKScheduler is a great util - but it so damm complex that I can't figure it out (and I can't use XRecord - it will not save settings til xml-file for some reason). Can anyboby provide me with a few exsamples of the XML format? ei: How do you make a program record within a timeframe (only if program starts after 17:00 and ends before 22:00)?

Version 17 over XRecord fixes many of the Issues with creating the CDK Scheduler file. If you haven't tried that version, then you need to down load it. The CDK Scheduler adds many more possible combinations than the standard scheduler, which does lead to some complexity. If the CDK Scheduler Examples does not cover your situation (it should cover about 90% of the cases), and the example PriorityRecordings.xml file on the Wiki doesn't provide a clue either,then tell us what you are tryign to accomplish and I'm sure I can get you the format that the entry needs to be done manually.

If you think of every recording being treated as a Season recording (recording all episodes all the time), and then start applying the restrictions, you should be able to schedule pretty much any recording how you want.
