I cannot get GB-PVR to recognise this card.

The card works with its own software albeit jerkily and the software has no front end to speak of just a basic set of wnidows dialogue boxes that look awful.

Maybe i need a 'custom' BDA.ini?

Im new to tv cards so please Help !

Hardware;
C2D 6600 2.4 Ghz
2GB Ram
8800 GTX

If the card is not yet supported, you would need to follow the steps described in the wiki:

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...aptureCard

If... sorry, when you succeed, please post the result so sub can add it in the next version Smile

Thanks for quick reply

Should i look in device manager to ascertain the card 'name' to use for the BDA.ini ?

The guide seems to only deal with the filters ?

I've never personally done that, but I think that the "card name" is "only" used by gbpvr to show in the dropdown over cards that are supported. If that is true, then you can enter anything you want, but if it's something that is relatively easy for others to help then understand which card you mean, then that would be to prefer Wink

ok this is working ! im now able to scan channels.

Below is the BDA.INI I created/edited;

[DTV-DVB PCIe BDA DVBT]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER="DTV-DVB PCIe BDA DVBT Tuner0"
FILTER_CAPTURE="DTV-DVB PCIe BDA Digital Capture DVBT0 "
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Is this correct for dual DVB tuner ?
I still have lots of configuring to do..... but channels have scanned so is a start.

This card is packaged as AZUREWAVE but this is jsut rebranding as twinhan is in process of takeover.

Cool, congrats! Regarding dual tuner: I have no idea. The nova-t-500 is a dual tuner, though... maybe you can look in bda.ini and get the general idea from there?

Cheers I'll add that definition to the master bda.ini file.

About the dual tuner thing. Going by the names I'd guess the second tuner replaces the trailing "0" with a "1" or something similiar. You'll need to confirm for me though.

Can you run filtercheck.exe in the gbpvr directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log that it creates?

OK here is filtercheck zip.

at the moment im having an issue with 'sound but no image' I think this is due to me experimenting with playback options.

Hope this doesnt affect the results.
