I have 3 tuners set up in Config:
PVR 150
HVR1600 Analog
HVR1600 Digital
Doing the scan on the digital channels I get only my local CBS and ABC affiliates in QAM clear. The quality of the signals varies so that sometimes the digital signal is better and sometimes the analog.
My question is, how can I differentiate between the digital and analog versions of the same channel? If I have, for example, channel 12 disabled on both analog tuners and enabled on the digital tuner, with channel 12 mapped to 12.1, then I will always get the digital version of that channel. If I enable all 3 tuners for channel 12, it seems to always give me the analog version. (In Config the digital tuner is third in the list.)
I guess what I would like to see is to have both channel 12 and 12.1 appear in the sequence of channels on Live TV and on EPG, but I can't figure how to do this.
Maybe the problem would be moot it I could get decent QAM rendering. Most of the time it shows up kind of like a very fast slide show - the picture seems to skip a frame or two every now and then.
Thanks,
Walt
