Nobody else getting the Autolt error when updating their EPG?

I'm also getting this AutoIt error and it all started about the Dec 11th time frame, which is oddly close to when mikeneron had the error too. Here's an excerpt from the log file:

My guide have runneth out today as I have been having this error for the last 7 days Looks like I will have to do manual recordings until a solution can be found.

I was having a different problem 2 weeks ago when the channel numbers were getting mixed up after the XML EPG update. So I decided to just go with Schedules Direct. I need a consistently valid EPG source as I am on the road a lot and can't be updating files and scripts when away. The WAF takes a nose dive when there is no EPG. It was good while it lasted.

I got this error during the EPG Update. Even after a fresh reboot and trying to manually update the EPG, still get the same thing. This has worked great for a couple of months now, so not sure what changed. Anyone else getting this error?

I've been able to solve the problem at least on my PC. You'll need to run the tool directly and rebuild your list from the program, then save the settings. Now when you have it download the EPG, you should be fine.

Thanks, I am back in business. I just scrapped the Settings.xml file and my TV Listings file and started over from scratch. I tried copying and pasting my channels from the old Settings.xml file to the new one, but it appears that some channels got removed or something and I would get the same Autolt error. So only by starting from scratch was I able to fix it. Not that big of a deal, just had to go through and check off my channels again.

Good thing it happened when it did as there aren't any new shows on right now anyways

Mike, if you could send me the log before this happened, and your old settings file, that would help. In the log, I'm looking for a time when a blank channel number was inserted.

It looks like somehow a channel was inserted with a blank channel number, which caused problems when the program tried to remove it.

Ok, a new update has been posted that resolves the COM error when high # of channels are added.

With the new release, there is a minor error. Doesn't seem to affect anything though so not a big deal. Just thought you might want to know.

This is normal operation. Sometimes, when under high load or serving large amounts of data, the MS server 'forgets' to close that XML tag, and this program catches that and replaces it.
