I usually spend reading on dvbn. I've used Emulation with success on both MT and Mediaportal w/ MDAPI with success. I'm trying to run GB-PVR MDAPI with emunation without luck.
I have:
Copied FFDecsa and Mdapifilter to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr
Registered mdapifilter with sucess ".net 2.0 is installed
Copied Pthreadvc2.dll to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr
And copied the remaing Emunation filed to the MDPlugins folder.
I get the MDAPI icon in the taskbar but it is not picking up Emunation when I right click.

I'm unsure wherein lies the problem.

Was using old version of MDAPI.AX Used lastest version of agwar's MDAPI.ax and all is well.

What do you use for an EPG? For EPG source I tried using DVB EPG Broadcast but that doesn't seem to work or is it because B*V is down right now?

I don't think mine is working with Emunation either? I see the MDAPI icon in the task bar as well but if I right click no emunation. What version of MDAPI did you use? Where did you get it from?

The great white north provider is down at the moment for EmuNation. But for the southern provider it should work if you have *all* of the files shown in the post above in their proper place. Also note that for premium channels it can take 10 minutes for EmuNation to gather all of the data it needs to get picture (just the first time, not every time ). So let it sit on a channel for at least that long before getting an itchy remote finger. I don't want to fill this thread with the gory EmuNation details. If your files are in the right place, and the mdapifilter registered (I'd use the one linked to from the gbpvr wiki) and you still have issues regarding EmuNation, go have a read at DVBN and track down your problem because it is probably not gbpvr related at that point.

I get no signal message on GBPVR when I select to tune to a channel. GBPVR scan channels fine in config app (with lot of unknown altough)

I used agwar's mdapi from dvbn. Gets me goin with emunation.
I get quite a few channels, but still alot that are unknown even after tweaking the timeouts on scan.
I think there are some issues with mdapi and ac3 sound possibly??
I would love to get this up and running smooth.

For DN and BEV GBPVR can not use DVB EPG. You have to use an xml based EPG grabber like zap2xml. Check wiki for epg pgms for NA. (It would be nice if sub ever decides to add the DVB epg ability for NA... hint, hint )

Kinda old thread, but I have almost finished am app that will help map your digital channels over to a EPG...

What version of mdapifilter.ax is everyone using to get emunation to work. I'm using Agarwal's v1.1.6.0 with no luck. I get the MDAPI icon in the taskbar but it is not picking up Emunation when I right click. Thanks.
