Greetings,
I'm new to this and have just set up a PVR150 card with latest GBPVR etc.
The Hauppage WinTV2000 has been tuned to these channels (Auck,NZ), and works fine:
One - 1
Two - 4
Three - 7
C4 - 9
Sky - 36
Maori - 43
Prime - 59

However, when I set up the same in GBPVR, the first 4 channels are fine, but the next 3 all show the same signal as C4 (channel 9). Any ideas?

Also, PVRX2 doesn't show any menu at all on my 'server' pc, so I can't use it and have to use GBPVR.

I set up a client laptop as well, and it works fine using either exe, but the server can only run GBPVR.

thanks,
Steve

Did you choose type = cable when it should be antenna (or the other way round) in the capture source config?
I'm not always right

As stefan said above, set the tuning type to 'cable' instead of 'antenna'. Try it in the tuning assistant.

What video card do you have in your server?

Hi,

I have a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256mb with latest drivers - just purchased a few days ago. Mobo is AGP only. Dual 19" LCD's.
TV card is PVR150MCE.
CPU: P4 3.2, 2GB ram.

Setting from antenna to cable makes it worse - I get snow on all those channel numbers.

Recording source is: Direct Recording Plugin
EPG: none
Channel Changer: none

Direct Recording Config:
Capture Card Type: Hauppauge PVR150MCE
Country: New Zealand
Source: Internal Tuner
Tuning: Antenna

Playback settings: all as default.

regards,
Steve

Yeah, that card should be ok. I'm using it with a ATI 9250 on one machine.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the PVRX2.exe.log and PVRX2.exe-native.log files and I'll take a look.

Did you leave it to scan through all 350 channels? The numbers you mentioned above will no longer be valid, but it should find all the channels in there somewhere. This is what every other NZ user does.

Thanks - that worked. I get all the channels now but different numbers on cable than on antenna. I hadn't thought to rescan because I already knew what the antenna channel numbers should be.

Microsoft's predefined 'Antenna' table for New Zealand doesnt contain all the frequencies in use here, which is why we have to use cable setting.

There is no errors in that log. What exactly do you see on the screen?

Just blue background. Aspect is really wide too.
