I did look at those but I couldnt see anyway to make them go to a new URL, unlike the keys in section 7.1.

If you install Apache and the SDK from here http://www.mspsite.com/ you can create your own portal and you can watch all the interactions with the Syabas browser including their extensions.

PAL looks really good, better than any transcoded output I've seen. You can tell that it works by design. I don't have a lot of samples just what have been problems with mvpmc in the past and they all run fine. One nice thing is that I can see subtitles now which were just green specs on the mvp before.

Would something like this work?

<BODY ONLOADSET=enter>
<A HREF="./enter.htm" name=enter ONKEYUPSET=”upset” ONKEYDOWNSET="downset" ONKEYLEFTSET="leftset" ONKEYRIGHTSET="rightset"></A><BR>
<A HREF="./up.htm" name="upset"></A><BR>
<A HREF="./down.htm" name="downset”></A><BR>
<A HREF="./left.htm" name="leftset”></A><BR>
<A HREF="./right.htm" name="rightset" ></A><BR>
</BODY>

I tried something like that. This only moves the focus to those links though, not activating them. I tried taking this on extra step by setting the 'ONFOCUSLOAD' to each of those links but it didnt seem to work.

This seems to work:
Code:
<BODY ONLOADSET=enter>
CONTROL<BR>
<A HREF="./enter.htm"  name="enter"    ONKEYUPSET="upset" ONKEYDOWNSET="downset" ONKEYLEFTSET="leftset" ONKEYRIGHTSET="rightset">.</A><BR>
<A HREF="./up.htm"     name="upset"    ONFOCUSLOAD ></A><BR>
<A HREF="./down.htm"   name="downset"  ONFOCUSLOAD ></A><BR>
<A HREF="./left.htm"   name="leftset"  ONFOCUSLOAD ></A><BR>
<A HREF="./right.htm"  name="rightset" ONFOCUSLOAD ></A><BR>
</BODY>

So Perhaps the liitle "." Link could be hidden off screen?

Ah, you're right. It does work. I had a typo that was stopping it working.

Now that its controlling GB-PVR with the correct navigation keys its feels a lot more natural. Much nicer. Thanks.

Don't get too jealous, Only sub has it so far, I just thought I'd play with mine to figure out the problem with the arrow pad.

I did put in a request it the NMT Forums for them to allow us to turn off the process indicator. Either through a config page, or perhaps a tag in the base URL.

I actually like the throbber because I think with an html interface something like that is necessary. I agree that it's a bit early to be jealous mine hasn't replaced my mvp in the living room yet.
