Quote:It works, i can see it on the pop, and i can play and so on.
But on the Win2003 server i have the gbpvr running on i get an error from the PHC Controller (PVRX2.exe -pch)
So it's initially working, you can see the screen on the Popcorn hour, then it crashes? Is it a particular thing you're doing when it crashes?

Quote:A Qustion, you know after i run the config, it will start a tray icon. can i just close thet down, or dos it need to run?
You can close it.

Quote:And, do you want bugs, and things in this tread in the forum for the PCH relatet things ??
Its probably best to post any bugs in the 'support' forum, though make sure you clearly mention its on the popcorn hour.

i found that if i try to play DVD from harddisk, it will say, cant be found, press return.
if i press return, it will some times show me the dvd folder again, but i cant go back, and cant move to Home or anything. and finaly the PCH will crash and i need to take power from it to get it back and running...

= YES i can see it...
looks like it was only the first time i run it it did the crash thing on the win2003 Smile
But the bug i postst above is still there, it will do this alll the time and also the PVRX2.exe, will crash, close down, when the PCH crash...

Its probably best to post any bugs in the 'support' forum, though make sure you clearly mention its on the popcorn hour.

Unfortunately I dont think you'd be able to watch a DVD via the popcorn hour, so I'm not too surprised it crashed.

This isnt something I've investigated yet, so I dont know whether DVD playback will work in the future. All I can give is a "maybe". My focus is definitely on recordings and live tv etc.

Any chance that this will also work on a Buffalo LinkTheater w/ DVD? They are both Syabas based. It gets stuck processing the HTML request for \index.aspx\

When you start an internet browser on that machine then visit this URL: http://127.0.0.1:12123/index.aspx

Does it give you a specific error message?

mvallevand Wrote:No guarantees and definitely don't buy one thinking this will ever work with GBPVR, but I will try and provide some progress reports on the mvpmc forum here. Getting it to output "hello popcornhour world" will be the first milestone.

Sub has proved this works with GBPVR and no I have hit my first milestone for mvpmc (thanks to "lundman")

Code:
/ # uname -a
Linux POPCORN 2.6.15-sigma #1282 PREEMPT Tue Dec 18 22:06:01 MYT 2007 mips unknown
/ # ./hello
hello popcornhour world

This is just great news, Martin. I've been following the thread on the NMT forum and I'm realy excited about this development. I can't wait to get my PCH next week!

You might be happy to know that your "MAX & Loretta" sample now plays with perfect sync on the PCH. I've kept it with my difficult samples.
