I upgraded but actually had this happen to me today. I was flipping between channels to check the quality while I was editing some settings in graphedit for the picture. I can't remember if it was the 2nd or 4th time I went to the channel, but it started recording in 20M chunks. (I know it wasn't 3rd because I started on a different channel.) I was going between two channels by entering numbers directly. Going to the guide and back the channel didn't fix it the first time but I think the second time did.

FYI, MS .Net update KB886903 causes webscheduler not to work. I think this was posted elswhere, but I see a few people had this problem in this thread.

FYI The MVP issue is resolved. I downloaded and installed the latest version of the MVP software and all is well again.

Since upgrading I'm having a problem with scheduling. I noticed some of my reoccruing were being recorded on medium when they should have been recorded on high (as I set the up). I thought it was an Xrecord / fastfind thing, so I cancelled them all and rescheduled them. Now they show as reoccring but not pending (and thus not recorded). I have tried Xrecord and the web scheduler, but haven't had any luck. Last night using the web scheduler I got "the apprentice" to set up properly (or so it seems), but when I schedule "CSI", etc I get the not pending problem, and the Web scheduler (which I finally got working, user error) shows the reoccruing as a manual record with no data (seems wierd, but I don't have the history).

sub, thanks for a wonderful product. I have been using it for several months now, and I'll never go back to a VCR. I am having a problem with this release (90.10), though. I upgraded from 23.13 and now I have only one channel. It's acting like maybe it would with a fixed-channel setting (I'm guessing), but it is not set that way. I have a PVR350. Under Capture Sources, if I click edit on my source, there are no channels listed at all. Under the Channels tab, however, all my channels are there. I tried Updating the EPG, as well as deleting the source and re-adding it. Everything that records is being recorded on the same channel, despite what the listings say. Live TV also just shows the same channel over and over again when I change channels. Any ideas?

btw, my apologies if this is not the proper place to post this, or if this has been covered already. I searched the forums as best I could, but didn't find this issue. If it has already been covered, if someone will just point me to the right thread, I'd appreciate it!

I played with the pvr a little to see if I could fix my problem above. I tried scheduling through the TV guide. If I do a quick record it works, if I try to schedule the season, I get the re-occring but not pending problem, except for the apprentice. Now I know sub likes the apprentice, but I'd also like to be able to record something else . I unstalled everything, blew the directory away and re-installed .9.10 but I am still have the same issue.

Ecorbin, I had the samething. Turned out that I'd mashed the gbpvr.mdb. I uninstalled and resinstalled 0910 fresh (reconfiguring all the channels) and all was well. (did lose the info on recorded progs though)

I use gbpvr on my computer monitor and I can no longer change channels with the keyboard if I use the number pad on the right side, not that big of a deal though.

Oh, I have a pvr-350 and since the 08 release I have had no problems with live tv, no freezing at all anymore. Changing channels is also very quick now.

In the v0.90.08 release I reported (and provided logs) related to the recording service not changing channels between recordings where a channel change is required. It appears to be a problem with controlling Plextor PX-TV402U device that cropped up in the v0.90 release. I've been working around it by scheduling a restart of the recording service before each recording - this worked OK for the v0.90.08 release, but with the v0.80.10 release, files started to get corrupted because of the restarts. In any case, the primary problem was not a problem in the previous major release and I've verified the problem is still present in the v0.90.10 release.

Is the problem still on the radar screen? Is there anything I can do to help? Is there anything I could be doing differently to resolve the problem on my end?
