I've seen several people offer suggestions of using FFMPEG to provide various formats to MVPs on the fly. I would love to dig in and figure out all the ins and outs, but I just can't seem to find the time.
So, I put it out to the community, could we put together a guide to get FFMPEG set up to provide what we need? Like, if we backed up a Home video DVD and wanted to stream it to the MVP. (Or other DVD that would be legal to do this with) what would be the steps?
Also, some have posted that VLC can do this sort of stuff, for things like web videos/streams, again, could this information be collected into one place?
If it is, and I missed it, I'm sorry.
