I have two Angel Usb tuners. I Have two source setups. They are set as capture card one and two. The tray icon says i have two separate tuners and it makes an attempt to use them both. However when i try to record a show and watch a show at the same time it can never make use of the second tuner. If i disconnect one tuner then start Gbpvr it will open live tv and allow me to watch it no matter wich card is unplugged . It is as if it thinks they two cards are one. How do i get it to see that i have two separate tuners and use them independently ?

post a screen shot of your setup page for each tuner
depends on the drivers but they need to be either device #1 and device #2 or they will both be device#1 which ever you must have it the wrong way around

The tuners are set to device one and two. However in the pull down menu to select the tuner it only ever shows one angel usb tuner. I am not sure if it is supposed to show two or not but i thought it was worth brining up . The driver version is 3.09. I have also tried the only other driver 3.07 . They both have the same results. Even though you may not need them here are the pictures you asked for . I have also included a shot of device manager showing both tuners install with the same name. I do not know if that is an issue either as i have seen many devices install with a numbered affix .

Run filtercheck.exe (located in the devnz\gbpvr folder) with both tuners connected then post the resulting filtercheck.log

I suspect that it may change the filter names for additional tuners. I could be wrong though.

You could also try recording two programs simultaneously and post your logs.

Based on that filtercheck.log you should have two capture sources, one as device#1, the other as device #2.

If that doesnt work for you, then do two recordings at the same time, then zip and attach the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log files and I'll take a look.

Those logs show that the graph failed but now why. Set your log level to "Debug" in the Config (General tab) and post the logs after trying the recordings again.

When it attempts to use the second device it fails to start, and unfortunately only returns some generic failure code.

Quote:2008-01-03 09:58:14.406 ERROR failed to start Conexant Graph
2008-01-03 09:58:14.406 VERBOSE ERROR_GEN_FAILURE

Are you sure the drivers support two of these devices in the one machine? The drivers of some devices dont.
