I just scheduled a show called road rage using tvlistings and it now appears as a manual recording in my pending queue, rather than having the show name. I only noticed this because when I then tried to schedule "hugh's chicken run", it (correctly) said that i had no spare tuners and offered me the chance to cancel either mock the week or manual recording.
Any ideas? Code: 2008-01-07 19:29:45.671 VERBOSE [7] TV Listings: About to update recording schedule...

In my TV Listing, I used to get star ratings and icons for films and also some other programs (never the dolby logo stuff- I guess radio times in uk does not contain it).
I have 3 questionns bugging me: In this thread, I'm reading about xmltvicons.exe as well and clickfindertoxmltv tool. currently I have postprocessing.bat make xmltvextra.exe point to my xmltv file with the epgextra plugin. Do I need to put more lines in the postprocessing bat to get xmltvicons.exe and clickfindrtoxmltv tool working at once. Can someone suggest a bat file to do that? 2. There is also a plugin called epgextra with its own postprocessing.bat. Does this do any more or les than xmltvextra? 3. Can someone also explain if sqlite database gets over writen by other plugins as they are installed...I have in the past got messages like sqlite missing etc. when installing plugins. I'm running community skins3 and pvxr2 on the latest gbpvr 1.1.5. Can someone also explain if sqlite database gets over writen by other plugins as they are installed...

Do you have a complete set of logs available from the moment it happened? Clickfindertoxmltv is only useful for user's from Germany that are also using the "TV Movie Clickfinder" application. Sam Wrote:2. Instead, an own database is used to store the configuration settings and the extra information for programmes. -alibert

Thanks for that nice summary Alibert. I realised this evening I should have read up some more on the Wiki. Got my fav. plugins all working now, including many of the problems faced here by using the latest material. I came to realise that some of the items I had downloaded at end of November '07 have already been updated. It's a shame the 'updated-dates' are not stated beside the download links to many of the plugins. The one nag however is this. My TV is always on time shift mode even though it is set to use live preview in config! Any help apprecited though I'll post it in the appropriate thread in meantime.

Is there anyway to get TV Listings to popup while watching LiveTV instead of the default TV Guide? I tried changing it in config.xml, but the default TV Guide still pops up.

Hi,
gEd Wrote:tvlistings.dll has 2.2.2857.42304 sorry, I'm not sure what went wrong. There has been an issue in the past when there was an epg update during the execution of the plugin, where the plugin still showed the outdated information, while the gbpvr database already was updated. This issue should be fixed since a while, but I will take another look at it. scb147 Wrote:Is there anyway to get TV Listings to popup while watching LiveTV instead of the default TV Guide?
