Hi currently I have to run at 1280 at 720 to get 50hz, but viewing at this causes a bit of the screen to get cut off on each side, anyone know a way around this?

Or is there a setting in the config of GBPVR to reduce the screen slightly.

PS the screen doest get chopped at 60hz but I get panning blur

Thanks for any advice

In the config file there are the following settings

<HorizontalZoom>1.00</HorizontalZoom>
<VerticalZoom>1.00</VerticalZoom>

it should help - by default there is some over scanning, I think 1.05 zoom.

Hi Keith

I`ve tried reducing both but they dont reduce the screen size, I think these settings may only change the screen size on a MVP.

First I tried 0.95 then I tried 0.50 but with no effect

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Not really - that was just something I picked up on the forum.
Sorry, I'm still learning about PVRX2.

Is it something you can change in the graphics setup - for example if you are using overlay then there may be a scaling setting for overlays - I think Nvidia drivers do it if you happen to have one of those.

I agree with the graphics setup.
click advanced while in the resolution setup screen, you should be able to find something in there.

Install PowerStrip. It's incredible. The trial won't timeout, but you won't be able to start it unattended untill you pay. Has a nag screen.

See if it solves your problem...

You might try changining the values for thr following in the config.xml

Code:
<!-- overscan control (border size in pixels) -->
  <OverScanBorderX1>0</OverScanBorderX1>
  <OverScanBorderY1>0</OverScanBorderY1>
  <OverScanBorderX2>0</OverScanBorderX2>
  <OverScanBorderY2>0</OverScanBorderY2>
  <OverScanVideoAlso>true</OverScanVideoAlso>
