No volume and mute control

Running GBPVR 1.1.5. Using the default irremote.ini file. Have hvr-1600 installed and using the supplied remote. PC is connected to the TV via an hmdi cable.

Volume up, volume down, have no affect. Does show the indicator that the volume is increasing or decreasing and does display MUTE but there is no affect on the sound. I modified the irremote.ini and specified:

MUTE={app(0x80000)}
VOLUP={app(0xa0000)}
VOLDOWN={app(0x90000)}

but that had no affect either.

If I run the Hauppauge WinTV application, volume control and mute from the remote works.

Have you tried changing the Volume control in the config app?

If so, the remote sensors must be plugged into the last card installed. I had the same problem when I installed my hvr1600 in addition to the existing pvr150

Sorry, I read too quickly. If it works with WINTV, you likely have the sensors plugged in correctly.
