No, this is not implemented.

Is this something you are thinking about implementing? Just curious as I'd like to have consistency throughout GBPVR. Yes, I have a problem Big Grin

Hi,

I've just installed Channel Listings and it looks great. One function that would make it even better would be a screen before the channel listings that enables you to select one of the pre-defined guides. So, for example, you have a guide for News, one for Kids, one for Sport etc. The first screen would show the available guides and the second the detailed listings.

cheers.

Dave.

please make sure the file "XmltvExtras.exe" is located in your gbpvr installation dierectory, e.g. "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\".

alibert, I'm working with TVListings and xmltvextras to work with the XMLTV Enhancer....

For the premiere tag to be gathered by xmltvextras, what text should be in the tag? And then does the premiere.gif need to match the text, (just like 16:9 matches 169.gif etc...)

<premiere>Not a repeat</premiere>

or <premiere>premiere</premiere>

or <premiere>new</premiere>

Hi,

it doesn't matter - just the existance of the premiere element indicates the "premiere character" of the show.

The image that will be shown for premiere shows can be adjusted in the skin.xml file of the plugin.

Hi alibert. I am trying to use XmltvExtras but unfortunatelly am getting an error:
Error at TVListingsDatabase.GetProgrammeOids(): Unable to open the database file

I use GBPVR v.1.1.5, seems to be working just fine and have no other problems with the database. EPG data comes from MSN_XMLTV_scraper v.60. I guess I am using Access - DatabaseChanger app seems to point to it.

Couldn't find anyone else with this problem in the forums.

Screenshot with the error attached. Nothing in the GBPVR logs.

Cheers,
Tomasz

yes, I think that I've only implemented support for the default sqlite database in the xmltvextras utility, sorry.

Well then I guess I have a problem. I have icons showing for Stereo, 16:9, HDTV, but no premiere.

I have 'premiere' in the Premiere field of the TV Listings db3. the icon is named 'premiere.gif' located same folder as my stereo, HDTV, 169 pics...

Skin, is default, but confirmed to show premiere.gif.

Yet it doesn't want to show...

Hi,

zehd Wrote:I have 'premiere' in the Premiere field of the TV Listings db3.

I guess you pasted the string "premiere" manually into the tvlistings database, which can't be recognized by the plugin. The column "premiere" should contain 'Y' if the programme is a premiere, or nothing if it isn't.

I just double checked that XmltvExtras is doing it correctly; whenever the <premiere> element is present within a <programme>, this show is added with premiere='Y' into the tvlistings database.
