This has probably been mentioned before but I can't easily find it on the forums, so just wondering if everyone gets the last second or two of songs cut off in the default music library or if it is just me - it can be quite obvious at times, and I have often resorted to closing down GB-PVR and just running winamp if I need non-intrusive background music (which has the added advantage of cross-fading of course Smile ).

Would this be a GB-PVR setting or a Media Player one?

cheers,

tieke

Nope not had that happen to me, unless it was on a vbr encoded track. Do you use mediaplayerforaudio true or false?

Bugger - it might be just me Smile

I pretty much encode all of my music as vbr (lame alt-preset-extreme/insane) so if vbr is a problem that could be it. I have use mediaplayerforaudio set to "true" - I might find a good example and test it with a "false" setting. On the other hand, I seem to recall this always happening for me, which is strange as that would encompass builds on two different sets of hardware, with XP and 2000, GB-PVR and PVRX2.

cheers,

tieke.

Have you tried enabling cross-fading in Media Player? It's hidden in there somewhere...

Found the setting in Media Player: View -> Enhancements ->Crossfading and Auto Volume Leveling

Maybe that will help?
