Just a possible suggestion. I've set up UltraXMLTV to include the date, MPAA rating and starrating in the title. I know I asked before about the spaces between the items so that they look like this:

Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) ® [3*]

instead of:

Bridget Jones's Diary(2001)®[3*]

Now, you told me to put spaces in the text boxes before the items. So I have (spaces before the '(' ):

Code:

([Rating])
([Starrating]*)
([Date])

By adding a space in the main text boxes, I get a description that would look like this for a non-movie (notice the space before the "(2007-10-04)":

Code:

(2007-10-04) Ryan returns to Dunder-Mifflin's Scranton branch to bring the
company into the digital age; Angela remains unhappy about her cat.

Is there anyway to make text boxes on the "Movies" dialog box that will allow us to change the Date, MPAA, and Starrating on just the Title line without affecting wherever else we can put these 3 items?

FWIW, the enhancer looked a bit overwhelming to me at first, but after reading the available docs a few times and then just using it, I'm much more comfortable with it. It's a great improvement over the I-XMLTV process!

I'm not gonna. For the Date, select 'do nothing', but in the Movies sub form, continue to use the date options.

Then select 'Prepend to Desc' for 'Previously Shown'. That will get you what you want...

A little of everything... As I'm sure it will take all night to download the hundreds and hundreds of shows data, I'm sure few people would have the patience, even if they were interested in the outcome...

I looked at the code, and I think that I would have to change the way I did things. But then when I set it up to go for epguides, even if tvdb isn't available, I'll look closer...

I think I have a compromise for you until you're game to dust off my request to add an all EPG information feature. Would you mind adding an option that would cause "Config Episodes" information to supersede EpOnScreen information if both exist? That way I would only see the season/episode information if both season/episode and eponscreen information exist and only eponscreen information if season/episode information does not exist.

That's not a bad idea. Now specifically, as I have not taken the epgs episode information seriously, in favour of my own system, where would you have the ep info displayed?

(I'll make the same options for both styles of ep numbers...)

I am currently prepending both the eponscreen and the season/episode information to the sub-title field. So, the eponscreen information precedes the season/episode information which then precedes the sub-title information.

(You know that your example is not the norm... that 107 corresponds to season 1 ep 7, just like a pure fluke..)

OK. I know how it works. That number is a production number and if the network, production company wanted to organize their shows in that system, we're all lucky.

But look at a 'simspons' or '24' episode... Fox is doing some strange things allright.

OK. I want you ( and everyone to know) that I'm kinda coded out. I did a lot to get ZProcess updated and rolled out and the Enhancer is working good. I do want to make the Manager work a little bit better ( and easier) but I actually have a whole lot of TV to watch.

Ironic, that I work on PVR software, but I don't watch what I record...

So I'll be taking a short break.

Keep ideas coming. I'll try to work them all in when I get a round tuit...

It looks like the <Overview> tag is one giant line, which UltraXMLTV doesn't seem to like.

P.S. - What does the 'Q' button on the Config Episodes used for?
