None of the channels map to the EPG. And why do you need to map a sat channel to a non sat channel (digital cable for example)? Doesn't SD have listings for your sat? I understand that the dvb-s uses freq and not channels, but doesn't the final list correspond to the sam list of channels on your Sat's EPG? I actually don't know what files you should show me, or whether the Enhancer is the right candidate to do this. I also can't believe that someone hasn't asked for this already Maybe you should walk me through the process (some pics) Create a new thread for this... I'll find you

Is there a way to get the enhancer to show "previously-shown" date if it exists but "date" if there is no previously-shown date? I'm finding some shows do not always include data in the "date" field, but new shows have no "previously-shown" field...so I can not just use one or the other or some shows will have no date information. At present I have set the enhancer to prepend both "date" and "previously-shown" to my descriptions, but then for shows that do include both fields, I get double dates. This is not a big deal, but would be neat if there were a way to ensure I always get a date without the duplicate dates showing up. I know you have already put a tremendous amount of effort into this utility, so feel free to skip this if it requires lots of recoding, but I thought I would ask in case this is already built in some how.
I've attached some examples below from my xml file in case it helps. Example with no "date" but has a "previously-shown": <programme start="20080218103000 -0500" stop="20080218110000 -0500" channel="I43186.labs.zap2it.com"> <title lang="en">Shawnee, Oklahoma: The Kidnapper's</title> <category lang="en">Public affairs</category> <category lang="en">Series</category> <episode-num system="dd_progid">SH00014967.0000</episode-num> <previously-shown start="20071013000000" /> </programme> Example with no "previously-shown" but "Date" present: <programme start="20080218210000 -0500" stop="20080218220000 -0500" channel="I10621.labs.zap2it.com"> <title lang="en">Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles</title> <sub-title lang="en">Dungeons & Dragons</sub-title> <desc lang="en">In and out of consciousness and fighting for his life, a Stranger remembers his life in the future and his battle against the machines; Sarah tries to explain the past to Charley.</desc> <date>20080218</date> <category lang="en">Drama</category> <category lang="en">Paranormal</category> <category lang="en">Series</category> <episode-num system="dd_progid">EP00931007.0006</episode-num> <episode-num system="onscreen">109</episode-num> <audio> <stereo>stereo</stereo> </audio> <subtitles type="teletext" /> <rating system="VCHIP"> <value>TV-14</value> </rating> </programme> Example with both "date" and Previously-shown" present: <programme start="20080218220000 -0500" stop="20080218230000 -0500" channel="I10826.labs.zap2it.com"> <title lang="en">CSI: Miami</title> <sub-title lang="en">Deep Freeze</sub-title> <desc lang="en">The lab loses the body of a murdered sports legend.</desc> <date>20071022</date> <category lang="en">Crime drama</category> <category lang="en">Action</category> <category lang="en">Suspense</category> <category lang="en">Series</category> <episode-num system="dd_progid">EP00524061.0128</episode-num> <audio> <stereo>stereo</stereo> </audio> <previously-shown start="20071022000000" /> <subtitles type="teletext" /> <rating system="VCHIP"> <value>TV-14</value> </rating> </programme> Thanks!

A few weeks ago and last night again, TVdb was giving me blank pages for CSI: NY. but without changing anything, it works today, as it did after a day of ball busting... I believe I read that the servers themselves, and the people running them are actually having trouble deciding on some things, and they change parameters regularly... OH well

I will be releasing a patched version of the enhancer. Totally teasing you by telling you what it will do and not release the file...
I've added the get info for all feature. (and told it to get epguides html regardless of whether it had success with tvdb.com) Any way here are some stats. The first time I ran the get all on 29000 records, it found 2540 unique shows, ranging from Paid Programming to News, to Prime Time, to Discovery Channel vignettes... It grabbed ~8500 files from the Internet which totalled 45 Mb of disc space. The first time took 45 minutes. Many many shows were marked as 'No data available', and 'don't fetch' and so the next time, it shouldn't have to get a lot of stuff a second time... I kept tweaking and tweaking so that I wasn't downloading stuff more often than required, and now it does 29000 records in 7 minutes flat....(give or take an hour) Seriously, I think I'm gonna eat my words. Adding an extra 10 minutes to an operation that happens when I'm supposed to be asleep anyway, is not bad considering most every show I might be interested in has ep info now...

I've added the following logic. If there's a previouslyshown but no date the data will be copied. If there's a date that is more than 4 digits (applies to movies) then copy it to previouslyshown... That way you won't be getting the four digit year dates in the PreviouslyShown fields. I have my setup Date = Do Nothing, PreviouslyShow = Prepend to Desc, And in the config Episodes subform, selected Display Movie Year in title...

I've added the prepend/append to the length, date, and Previously Shown. Ratings is a completely different beast, with how I parse, and I couldn't think of an easy way. It may still come....
