I have the same issue and I'm on a 20Mbps download connection so that feature will be implemented, don't worry.

I did some research on the netflix community forum and they offered some potential work arounds, but they didn't work (even if they did they are too much of a hassel to do). One question I have is how many movies will I be able to download to watch later? I understand that there is a 24 hour limit on this, but will I be able to download 2 movies at the same time?

To be honest, I didn't think about that so I have not tested downloading more than one movie at once and have not been coding for it. I can definitely change the code to do it and see if the Netflix servers allow it. If they do then I can make the plugin do it.
Instead of attempting to keep track of "Watch this movie now" and "Watch this movie later", I will probably simply implement a "Download to Watch" and download the movie to a predefined folder of the video library.

Sounds good to me.

Rather than a "all features in the release", how about vaious alpha or beta stages where basic functionality rools out to those of us who just want to "watch now" and don't care about history, watch later, etc?
Thanks

There will be an alpha in a few days. I have pretty much everything I need. I just have to put it into a plugin for GB-PVR and have been busier than usual with my day job. The release will be very much alpha though.
