Wishlist for Autosearch/Autorecord

Hi UJB,

Now that AS and AR have been working well, I'd like to wishlist a bit of fine tuning, if I may?

• One wish is a fixed DAY filter, so if you know the live shows are always Mondays and repeats always some other day of the week, it'll only auto-record a show once and ignore the rest.
  
• The second is an EXCLUDE filter, perhaps using a comma delimited list. Like Auto-record all search with Rugby, except those with "Heineken Cup" in the title.

Another wish .... (in addition to the above).

I can't tell from the "Manage Recodrings" screen which DAY I have set for a season record. The time shows up for specific slot (when I choose it) but the DAY never shows up, even if I check "all episodes". I know e.g. that I chose "Damages" to record ONLY on Tuesdays (any time) but the Manage Recordings screen doesn't tell me that, when I check it??

What if you gave Search For Phrase an 'Advanced' option which would accept an SQL Where clause such as

Where [description] like "%rugby%" and [description] not like "%heiniken%"

That's because there is no code to do that....in EWA

I can add this in.....doing the initial research I also uncovered several bugs with CSS and the viewing of Season recordings which I have now fixed.

Give this beta a try and let me know what you think....the day information is available on the detail screen only. This also contains the other fixes I mentioned for the CSS based screens.

It works, like you said, on the detail screen only... (faint tick box, sorry missed that the first time).
Any chance of this on the main Manage screen, so I can see them all "at a glance"?

btw another leetle request :-)

Autoreminders... you might remember an early request that these be put on a seperate Tab (and that Tab only)? I ask as the darn things pop up in every page I have and as I have a BIG list, it pushes the rest of the page deep down and they refresh every time I do search, and it drives me nuts! etc etc

Yeah "a bit", I'm still a bit of traditionalist though :-).
The original EWA just feels clear, there are more tables and bigger border lines, ...just better DFINED IMO. I get lost tarnsitioning from Season to Recorded to Pending e.g.

For CSS:

• True the auto-find list is better there...
  
• One oddity is with the default theme, I can't see the text I type at login (You might remember my work resets all cookies).
  
• Another oddity is the default was Channel text, so I changed it to icons only (and pressed Submit), but in the TV Guide tab it still shows Text (Channel name) AND the icon, regardless. The old one just shows the icon.
  
• Another oddity was when i went BACK to the old EWA, the icons were BIG, so I had to change them to 70x60 or so (good size), but of course with no cookies they don't save?
