Volume low

If I open one of the recordings in bsplayer, it is nicely loud. When I open it in GBPVR (without adjusting volume) it is *much* quieter. Hence I have to turn up the volume on the speaker and I can hear the annoying inherent noise (the sound is integrated in the motherboard). What's the deal? I thought the only volume in GBPVR was the system volume (which I have set at max)

try adjusting the volume in gbpvr, on the remote (new 45 button one) just press vol up, or on keyboard press +. i think gbpvr has internal volume control aswell.

Do you know if there's an ini file with the initial volume? Or does it remember the volume last set to use next time?
