Hi, I'm trying to use the bgt3540 (blackgold 6in1) tuner with gbpvr but with no luck. Do you know if it's supported by the program? If yes, can anyone help me with the configuration?

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Run the filtercheck.exe utility from the gbpvr directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log that gets created and I'll take a look.

For future reference, dont go back and update an old post or I wont see that a new post was made. It was only by luck that I saw you'd come back and edited this post with a link to your file. If you'd made a new post instead, it'd be marked as new and I would have read it.

My apologize... Sad Sorry for that. Let me know if you have some news about the log.

Thanks

Try adding these entries to your BDA.ini file, then setup four capture sources. Two DVBS ones, as devices #1 and #2, and two DVB-T ones, also as device #1 and #2.
Quote:[BlackGold BGT3540 DVB-S]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=7162 BDA DVBS Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=7162 BDA Digital Capture DVBS
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2-Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2-Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2-Transport

[BlackGold BGT3540 DVB-T]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=7162 BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=7162 BDA Digital Capture DVBT
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2-Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2-Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2-Transport

The analog side of this device isnt usable in GB-PVR since it lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

Hello

I have followed these instuctions to setup the same card but when i go to map the digital channels to epg channels the config app crashes.

In the logs everything goes ok until it says rendering pin1 rendering pin2 rendering pin3 rendering pin4, then it stops.

Thanks Jase

zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.
