I have previously used yapi2xml on my XP system and it really worked very well. I had it set to auto update at 6:00 a.m. and it always worked.
I have now intalled GBPVR on Vista and after a number of issues have it working. The only remaining issue is that the epg auto update isn't working. Is this a known Vista issue? I can run it manually but it sure was nice when it did it automatically.

Try deleting the "c:\users\<user account>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz" directory, then check to see if your listings have appeared.

Sub,

I do have my guide and EPG data, but the guide is only good for two weeks from my last manual epg update. Before it updated automatically at 6:00 a.m. to keep my guide continually updated for a two week period.

Yes, but did your try my suggestion above? Vista's file protection may have created a virtual copy of the gbpvr.db3 file for your user account (only containing data from your manual EPG updates), hiding the real database used by the recording service (containing all the data).

Zip and attach the recording service logs then and I'll take a look.

That log looks like Yapi2xml was having problems downloading the listings. Sorry, this isnt something I can help you with. You'd have to ask the author of Yapi2xml.
