elbryyan Wrote:This is probably because you don't have the netflix skin folder in the right place. This happened to me as well on the first plugin that lists the top 25 and stuff. Make sure that there is a netflix folder under the ...\devnz\gbpvr\shin2\blue or whichever skin you are currently using.

It works now, somehow the Netflix dir was in skin2, not skin2\blue. Boy do I feel dumb, I know better than to make a mistake like that!

Any chance of detecting Watch Instantly movies that are in your queue? I do this so I can watch them on my computer whenever I'm ready to, simply by browsing my queue then choosing one, and remove it when I'm done.

Maybe add multitap to the Watch Now plugin so a person can quickly jump to a letter. And a search field to find movies that start with a specified string. Check out the SearchWiz plugin for this functionality.

I already have those features planned among others. My first priority is getting the actually getting the movies working properly though.

As an update on that, I have fixed the issue with downloading movies larger than 2.1GB for the next build (2001: A Space Oddessy). I have also figured out how to get seeking working while the movie is downloading. I just need to figure out how to do it programmatically.

I had the problem with returning to the main menu as well. Fixed it by setting my NetFlix account login to 'remember me'. This is mentioned by Whurlston at the top of page 14. Hope this helps.

Whurlston,

Thanks for making this plug-in. For the most part It works fine for me at highest quality. The only thing was I could no see the players play button on the full screen button. I need to press alt+enter then the play button to start the movie. I did try just to hit enter at full screen, but it just had the "STATUS: READY" screen.

Nice alfa plugin

It should autostart the movie. If not, then <CTRL>+<P> will play. I'll double check my code though.

Okay, I'll put some logging capabilities into the next build. I may be tomorrow though.

Whurlston, you rock!
Just wanted to say thank you for sticking with this plugin and sharing with the rest of us.
I've been watching this from the beginning and have to say this is my favorite plugin by far.
This has alot of potential and truly makes netflix (and gbpvr) so much better. I was using IE to select a movie which was rather annoying. This is too cool.

As far as wish list..... I know you have most of the same ideas the rest of us have. If it's not already on the wish list, may I suggest a "sort by rating" since that's one way I would browse netfilx to pick a movie and maybe a details window of the movie description.
Yes.... I know this is very alpha..... just some thoughts for features down the road.

Thanks again!

ps. for those of you with dual monitors (ie, one LCD, one TV) you have to set the TV as your primary display in your video card drivers. I discovered this early on when using IE to use watch it now. The Nvidia driver allow you to select clone with the TV as primary (ie. TV + LCD in that order). I'm sure ATI is similar; probably with the catalyst software.

I had thought about that but hadn't decided. Since it's requested, I'll add that to the list.

That's a definite. I had actually planned on getting the details window added before the movie download but I figured everyone would prefer the movie first.

I forgot about that. The Netflix DRM prevents playing on a second monitor.
